MMXII.

MMXII. January 2012.

Firecrackers have always been part and parcel of every New Year celebration. All the more here in the Philippines where people would often spend more on firecrackers and pyrotechnics instead of food for the Media Noche table.

Here's a photo of a Roman Candle in its full glory. And that's my brother's hand you're seeing. We usually don't spend much on firecrackers. All these years, we're content with just simple Roman Candles and fountains. Not exactly being frugal, but more on keeping the household safe. Especially when we already have two kids here (my three-year-old son and my three-month-old niece).

Wishing everyone a safe and Happy New Year! More blessings this 2012!
